Drugs sold at Ohio drive-through

A former Wendy's employee was arrested after police discovered that some drive-through customers were able to order marijuana along with their fast food.

Brandon Brackney, 19, of Union Township, was charged Friday with four felony counts of drug trafficking and one misdemeanor count of permitting drug abuse, said Butler County Sheriff Harold Don Gabbard.

Three juveniles who worked with Brackney were charged with delinquency.

Gabbard said undercover officers made four drug buys at or near the restaurant. Three of the purchases were made at the drive-through window, authorities said.

"It gives an all new meaning to a 'combo meal,'" said Jeff Riegert, supervisor of the drug unit for the sheriff's office.

Brackney, who posted a $11,250 bond and was released from the Butler County Jail, could not be reached for comment Saturday morning. Union Township is about 15 miles north of Cincinnati.
