"Men Are From Mars" to be Vegas musical

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Author John Gray is used to couples talking about their problems, but now they're singing about relationship woes.

Gray's best-selling book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" has been turned into a musical comedy revue in Las Vegas.

The show features five couples -- all friends -- and the day-to-day struggles of each relationship.

"I've always thought themes from the book would make a great musical comedy," Gray said. "It's taken six years to bring it to the stage but it's worth it.

"People don't have to worry about feeling like they will be attending a seminar. This is pure entertainment."

The musical debuts Sept. 18 at the Flamingo hotel-casino and will run indefinitely.
