Salon Magazine has launched Ivory Tower to address both a student and an academic audience, to stir discussions on social, political and intellectual issues of relevance to campuses across the continent. Each Wednesday, the career section of Ivory Tower features relevant stories from the world of work as well as practical information for those about to enter it. Internship listings currently focus on jouralism, publishing and new media, but will eventually include graphic arts, advertising/marketing, arts, high tech, non-profits, politics and education. Salon is free to access, and listings of internships are posting free of charge.
