Series

On Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB), Riley is captured by Adam, and learns that he has something in common with the human/demon hybrid. Jeez, Buffy sure knows how to pick them ... Joan Collins guests on Will & Grace (9 p.m., NBC) as a design legend with whom Grace competes to land a swanky decorating job. On Angel (9 p.m., WB), our boy finds an unlikely ally at Wolfram and Hart. Dharma and Greg (9 p.m., ABC) ends its season with Dharma's thoughts turning to motherhood. Sports Night (9:30 p.m., ABC) also ends its season; the staff waits and wonders if they're going to lose their jobs as the deadline looms for a buyout of the network. They'll have a long wait; "Sports Night" is not on ABC's fall schedule, although there are rumors that the show could resurface on HBO. On NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC), Diane risks her sobriety to hang out with the boozing Denby, whom she suspects of harboring a secret about Jill's ex-husband.

Specials

Unauthorized: The Brady Bunch -- The Final Days (8 p.m., Fox) is a one-hour dramatization of what went on behind the scenes of the show in the week leading up to the series finale. After "Diff'rent Strokes": When the Laughter Stopped (9 p.m., Fox) is another one-hour dramatization of the troubled off-camera lives of Gary Coleman, Todd Bridges and Dana Plato. Oh, how I wish I were making this all up. I'm not.
