Tony Randall is profiled on a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E). On Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB), Faith tries to pin Finch's murder on Buffy, which makes Angel very, very angry. Thurgood takes the credit when Muriel nabs a burglar on The PJs (8:30 p.m., Fox). On NewsRadio (8:30 p.m., NBC), Dave and Joe fight for the attentions of Lisa's new assistant, Foxy Jones (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen). The Hughleys (8:30 p.m., ABC) visit a ski resort in an episode that spoofs Stephen King's "The Shining," just in case you'd forgotten about King's "Storm of the Century," which ABC has given the night off. Priscilla Presley guests on Spin City (9 p.m., ABC) as an older woman who takes a liking to Mike. In the conclusion of a two-part Felicity (9 p.m., WB), Todd Mulcahy meets a tragic fate that causes Felicity to rethink her career plans. On NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC), a man confesses to murder, but can't remember where he put the body. Also, Lola's in trouble again.

S P E C I A L S

It's February sweeps -- even for PBS. The four-hour "Nova" miniseries Escape! Because Accidents Happen (check local times, PBS) -- love that exclamation point -- examines the technology of safety engineering with plenty of news footage of actual plane, train and car crashes, catastrophic fires and shipboard disasters. The episodes "Fire" and "Car Crash" air tonight; "Plane Crash" and "Abandon Ship" air tomorrow.
