Former pro wrestler Andre the Giant (who was afflicted with an endocrinological disorder that made him keep growing) is the subject of a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E). In the first episode of a two-part Dawson's Creek (8 p.m., WB), Dawson and Jen feel the old magic during tryouts for his movie, Joey sketches Jack in the raw and Pacey intends to make Andie's fantasy come true. 60 Minutes II (9 p.m., CBS) finds the long-running newsmag succumbing to "Dateline" fever and spawning a second weekly edition. Dan Rather, Bob Simon, Vicki Mabrey and Charlie Rose are the correspondents. Meanwhile, in the world of make-believe newsmagazines, Freundlich and Karp are jailed for refusing to reveal a source on Lateline (9 p.m., NBC). Drew's mature girlfriend (Shirley Jones) moves in on The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC). McCoy finds evidence of a police cover-up as he tries to bring a 30-year-old murder case to trial on Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC). Tracey Takes On ... (10 p.m., HBO) begins a new season. The topic is dating; the skits include a "Titanic" spoof, with Linda Granger trapped with her taxi driver lover in a sinking cab.
