S E R I E S

Jason Priestley makes his exit from Beverly Hills 90210 (8 p.m., Fox) as his character, the 43-year-old Brandon Walsh, lands a newspaper job back East. OK, he's not really 43. But this show feels like it's been on forever. On Dawson's Creek (8 p.m., WB), a full moon illuminates Capeside's various romantic triangles. Very Special Episode alert: On Party of Five (9 p.m., Fox), Charlie struggles to cope as pregnant Daphne develops life-threatening complications. Patrick Warburton, who played Puddy on "Seinfeld," begins a three-episode gig on NewsRadio (9:30 p.m., NBC) as Johnny Johnson, a creepy corporate suit who takes over for the imprisoned Jimmy James. Abbie matches wits with a crafty serial killer on Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC).

S P E C I A L S

Anatomy of a 'Homicide: Life on the Street' (check local times, PBS) is a one-hour documentary about the making of an episode of NBC's hard-boiled cop drama. The episode, "Subway," airs immediately after the documentary (yes, on PBS); it's the much talked-about one from last season where Pembleton ministers to a man (Vincent D'Onofrio) who was pushed in front of a subway train and left crushed between cars but still conscious, awaiting certain death.
