King of the Hill (8 p.m., Fox) has its season premiere; this was bumped last week by Fox's telecast of the game in which Mark McGwire hit home run No. 62. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB) reruns the episode that flashes back to Angel's beginnings as a vampire. The new sitcom Costello (8:30 p.m., Fox), which was also preempted last week, debuts. Comedian Sue Costello plays a Boston bartender who wants to be somebody. The buzz: Not worth the wait. On a rerun of Dawson's Creek (9 p.m., WB), Dawson is jealous over Joey and Pacey's new closeness. Investigative Reports (9 p.m. EDT/10 PDT, A&E) looks at "Anne Frank: The Missing Chapter," newly discovered pages from Frank's diary. P.O.V. (check local listings, PBS) presents the documentary "Family Name," in which North Carolina filmmaker Macky Alston confronts his family's past as slave owners.
Oliver Sacks: Mind Traveller (check local listings, PBS) concludes with a study of Williams syndrome, which is characterized by impaired spatial cognition.
