Then, "Susan" co-star Kathy Griffin mounts a one-woman show all about how "Jerry Seinfeld is the Devil" on a rerun of Seinfeld (9 p.m., NBC). 48 Hours (10 p.m., CBS) updates a 1997 report on Christopher Reeve and spinal cord injury research. On a rerun of ER (10 p.m., NBC), Jeannie gets her job back by putting the pressure on Weaver. ABC News Thursday Night (10 p.m., ABC) reruns a 1997 "Turning Point" program about the disappearance of Amelia Earhart.
Tennis:
NASCAR: 50 Years on the Fast Track with Brooks & Dunn (8 p.m., CBS) is the country duo's musical salute to fast cars, with a video history of stock-car racing and interviews with Dale Earnhardt, Richard Petty and Jeff Gordon thrown in. On a related note, a recent Michigan State University study of seat belt use by TV characters found that on Nash Bridges, nobody ever buckles up.
