100 Nights of 'The X-Files' (8 p.m., FX), which is airing the first 100 episodes of the series in order on weeknights, is up to episode No. 3, and it's a great one: "Squeeze," marking the first appearance of Eugene Tooms, the 100-year-old serial killer who stays fit and trim by eating human livers and can contort his body to fit into teeny, tiny spaces. On Public Eye (9 p.m., CBS), Bryant Gumbel interviews the man convicted in the 1963 kidnapping of Frank Sinatra Jr. Live from Lincoln Center (check local times, PBS) presents Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra in a program saluting great moments in jazz. Bruce Springsteen is reportedly talking with HBO about an anthology series based on his 1995 folk album "The Ghost of Tom Joad." The series would dramatize songs from the album ... Kellie Martin, who starred in the family series Life Goes On and Christy, as well as the short-lived NBC drama Crisis Center, is joining the cast of ER. She'll play a third-year medical student. Martin fills the young female doctor void created by the departure of Maria Bello, who played Del Amico ... It has barely opened in theaters, but ABC has reportedly bought the broadcast rights to Armageddon for $30 million. It'll air in May 2001.
