Song of the Day: "Heart It Races," Dr. Dog

Pastoral psychedelia courtesy of an up-and-coming Philadelphia band.
"Heart It Races"

Dr. DogDr. Dog earned a lot of positive attention earlier in the year with the release of "We All Belong," an album of eclectic and approachable psychedelic rock. "Heart It Races" isn't an original number -- the song was originally recorded by former tour-mates Architecture in Helsinki -- but with its curling guitar figures, bopping keyboards and infectious backing vocals, it ably captures the Philadelphia fivesome's sunny, pastoral charm.
