the Dark Hotel

Welcome once again to the Dark Hotel! After weeks of scrubbing, polishing and waxing the old pile -- not to mention removing the odd bloodstain -- the management is extremely pleased to announce our most ambitious story yet -- "A Blues for Drago Drugilovic."

Drago, you Hotel haunters will recall, is the somewhat surly gentleman with a pronounced widow's peak who grunts at you when you check in at the front desk. Have you ever wondered what made him the way he is -- whatever the hell that is? So did we. And the process of finding out took us, in the end, to the bloody Balkans. For Drago, you see, is the child of an Albanian mother and a Serb father. He thought he had escaped the ancient hatreds of his land when he came to the Dark Hotel -- but he was wrong...

And now, please check in. Drago himself is waiting for you.
