Nick Cave

Introduction to Mark

- - - - - - - - - - - -

Oct. 05, 2000 | Another of the Pocket Canon series of revamped books from Cannongate Press' King James Bible features writing by musician and author Nick Cave. Here, Cave reads from his introduction to the book of "Mark," and discusses his views on the Bible and religion.

Internationally acclaimed as an author and musician, Cave has written several books of fiction and released dozens of records. Nick Cave is an extremist, a man who believes that life should be lived not in the middle but at the limits of existence, and that art should reflect the turmoil of such a life.
