It is futile to resist her brutal accounts of obsession and beauty. So give in. Listen to these new exclusive poems from Blackman's upcoming book, recorded in Times Square and on a New York subway, respectively (produced and mixed by John Van Eaton).

"Sexually charged...Nothing prepares the listener for this dark, disturbing direction...Nicole Blackman's spoken word portraits of fear, violence, death and decay. "Alt-rock diva, wise-cracking Blackman is not so much the poetic conscience of Gen X as its caustic avenger." - Village Voice
