Right now I'm reading "All the Pretty Horses" by Cormac McCarthy and "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck. The three years I was working on "Infinite Jest" I didn't get to read anything for fun. There was so much stuff I didn't know anything about that I had to learn for this book that I spent three years reading psychopharmacology and Game Theory journals. I thought I was going to catch up on all the fun books on this tour, but so far I've read about three pages.
